How does category exclusivity work?
An exclusive season partner is the only sponsor in its agreed category. No supporting or competing sponsors are included in that category. When a project needs that category, the team uses its official provider. Teams do not have to use every sponsored category. In categories without an exclusive partner, builders choose their tools. Category boundaries and existing commitments are confirmed before signing.
What access do partners have to registrants?
Registrants opt in to contact sharing and sponsor communications, either directly or through AI Collective. The specific data fields, transfer process, and communication scope are documented in the partnership agreement.
What can we do with the media?
Exclusive partners can publish approved post-produced content under agreed terms and applicable distributor permissions. Reuse does not transfer ownership. Supporting-partner reuse rights remain to be confirmed.
What does one named episode include?
Every exclusive partner receives one named episode on AIC-owned releases in the planned 12-episode series: an opener, ten battles, and a closer. Episode allocation and title treatment are agreed with each partner. Partner team interviews are also included in the series. Naming on third-party streaming releases is subject to distributor approval.
Where and when will the series be released?
Episodes are planned for release after the competition season. Corporate sponsorship is the primary production funding plan. AIC channels, YouTube, independent production options, and third-party distribution are possible release paths; no Netflix, Amazon, or other streaming deal is confirmed. AIC-owned episode naming is included; third-party placement and credits are not guaranteed.
How does judging participation work?
Exclusive partners can participate on the judging panel. Each event is planned to have 5–10 judges evaluating competitors against the same rubric. The number of seats and event allocation are agreed before signing; participation does not guarantee a seat at every event.
What will we measure together?
Agree a reporting plan covering registrations, attendance, participating builders, delivered placements, and available broadcast and content metrics. Product activation and usage measurement depend on partner instrumentation. Reach and product outcomes are not guaranteed.
Which cities are on the roadmap?
Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Austin, Miami, New York, Boston, and Washington, DC. The tenth stop, dates, and venues are to be confirmed.
